Living Landscape

Image
For the 8th and final assignment in this course we had to create a living landscape. A landscape where everything in it was a human body part all combined to make a landscape that would seem real to reality. Where you could obviously see the different body parts, but they were colored, or formed in a way that they represented something else, such as an eye for a moon, knees as mountains, and a bunch of hands for a tree. Overall this was cool to be able to mess around with different colors to make it look real and intriguing to the eye.

Colorization

For the 7th assignment of this course I was able to colorize a black and white photo. I got to bring to life a dead and plain photo in the way that I wanted to. Step by step you would select different items, or spaces with a crop tool. And using an Overlay feature you would be able to make the items, clothes, people, and such all come to life with color. And at the end I was able to colorize what looks like a real life photo someone could of taken with all of those colors in place, when in reality they must have been a lot of different colors and such in the real life photo.

Cut And Paste

For the 6th assignment we had to create a cut and paste of living things. I did such things as celebrities going from big Sean, Chance the rapper, Drake, Obama, and even Trump. I also put in different animals such as monkeys, turtles, and even snakes. With this mashup I was able to cover the background of white completely which was a requirement inside of the assignment. This was cool to be able to mess around with different photos and such and be able to move them around as I liked.

Self Portrait

Image
For the 5th assignment we had to create a Self Portrait of ourselves. Using a bunch of different colors, shades, and such I was able to make myself look as realistic as I possibly could using this program. Using such different styles I was able to make my hair look real with strands coming out, my eyes look like they were gazing at the person looking at it, and my chain stick out on my neck. All of such made myself look more and more realistic as I finished. As I also got to create a nice and creative background to go along with it.

Calligram

Image
For the 4th assignment in this class we had to create a Calligram of our own faces. We used words created from an essay we had to write outside for this project. It was cool to see my face, neck, hair, eyes and more all come together. Using a basis of circles and such based off of the shapes I could see in my face I slowly put more and more phrases and words into my calligram. And once done it had a resemblance to me I didn't think that it would.

Logos

The third assignment for this class was to recreate a logo. This ended up being my favorite assignment we had all year. I was able to recreate Yoshi and got to see him from start to finish as I created him piece by piece working off of another photo that I was given. I was able to make the colors on point, make it look as realistic as possible when I created him. I had to use multiple shades of color for each part, and was able to make him have different shades all over looking like shadows and such making him a lot more realistic.

Canvas Landscape

For the second assignment we had to make a canvas landscape. We had to have a requirement of some items and scenery which I upheld. It was nice to be able to see what I was able to make on a program I didn't know much about. It gave me insight to what I could actually be able to make once I learned this program more. With the house, person, sunflower, sun, and more I was able to create a landscape that seemed like it could be real.
